Today we are going to make a Delicious dish which is a KASHMIRI PULAO
- INGREDIENTS
- RICE - 250gm
- PANEER - 100gm
- SAFFRON - A PINCH
- OIL - 2tbsp
- GINGER GARLIC PASTE - 1tbsp
- SALT - TO TASTE
- CUMIN SEEDS - 1tsp
- GREEN CARDAMOM - 6
- RAISINS - 15gm
- CASHEWNUTS - 20gm
- FRIED ONIONS & CHOPPED CORIANDER - FOR GARNISH
METHOD
- Wash & soak rice for 30min.
- Cook it by absorption method by adding salt & whole spices . ( use double quantity of water than rice i.e. about 500ml).
- Soak saffron in warm water.
- Heat oil in kadhai add cumin seeds & green cardamom saute for 30sec. Add ginger garlic paste saute for 1 min then add rice & stir.
- Add paneer cubes , raisins & cashew. Sprinkle saffron over rice. Add salt to taste
- Serve HOT garnished with fried onions & chopped coriander leaves.
