 SPAGHETTI WITH MEAT BALLS

                       Spaghetti is a long, thin, solid, cylindrical noodle pasta. It is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine. Like other pasta, spaghetti is made of milled wheat and water and sometimes enriched with vitamins and minerals. Italian spaghetti is typically made from durum wheat semolina. 


Ingredients

● Spaghetti - 450gm 

● Onions - 100gm 

● Garlic - 2 flakes

 Meat Ball

● Lean meat - 450gm 

● White bread - 60gm 

● Onions - 100gm

● Tomatoes - 450gm 

● Brown sugar - 1Tbsp

● Parsley (chopped) - 1Tbsp

● Cheese - 85 gm 

●  Salt and Pepper - to taste


Method

1. Soak bread in water.

 2. Squeeze dry and mash with fork.

3. Add finely chopped onions, chopped parsley, minced meat, grated cheese and seasoning.

4. Bent eggs lightly and combine with mixture.

5. Shape into small balls (12) and fry in hot fat. Drain on absorbent paper and set aside.

Sauce

1. Heat ail in a heavy pan.

 2. Add chopped onions and crushed garlic and cook till golden.

3. Add blanched and pipped tomatoes, sugar, thyme, salt and pepper.

4. Lower heat. Cover and cook slowly for one hour.

5. Add meat balls and cook gently for another 3 minutes.

6. Boil spaghetti in boiling salted water Drain and dish into a hot plate.

7. Pour sauce with ment balls over spaghetti.

8. Serve a bowl of grated cheese separately.
